Our Location
Located on Florida's central east coast and only minutes from Orlando, Volusia County is one of Florida's most versatile areas for film activities and location sites. Our location is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean with 47 miles of beautiful white sandy beaches. The Volusia County area includes such cities as Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, Ponce Inlet, Deland, Lake Helen, Orange City and New Symyrna Beach plus several other communities which offer film makers a plethora of location choices from beaches to rural farm lands.
Filming projects completed in our area include feature films, documentaries, and movies of the week, TV shows/features, commercials, promotional spots and travelogs. These include such productions as The First of May, Angel of Death - Eileen Wuornos Story, Days of Thunder, Marvin's Room and Rosewood, to name a few. The beach has provided a wonderful location for commercials from several companies including Pontiac, Darden Restaurants and Best Buy along with numerous music videos and still photography shoots from magazines such as Rolling Stone.
