The Daytona Beach Area requires that an application to film be completed for filming on all public property and any county beach at least one week prior to filming. Upon approval from the proper authorities, a permit is issued. If filming is to occur on private property only, a permit is not required, although all production companies are requested to notify the Volusia County Film Office regarding their intentions. Production permits are issued without charge in most areas around the county. An application to film can be downloaded by clicking on the link below or you may also complete the application online.
